SAN JOAQUIN VALLEY NATIONAL CEMETERY

The San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery is located a few miles northwest of Santa Nella. When leaving Santa Nella take State Route 33 north to McCabe Road, turn left and stay on McCabe Rod to the cemetery entrance. The gates are open from 8:00 AM until 5:00 PM every day of the year for visitors. The office is open from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM on weekdays and is closed for federal holidays.
The Department of Veteran Affairs and the staff of San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery are dedicated to the goal of providing the best and most compassionate service to veterans and their families.
The 322-acre cemetery was dedicated in June of 1992 and was built on land donated by the Romero Ranch Company. There is vast community support for the facility that presently conducts in excess of 2,000 burials of our nation's veterans and eligible dependents each year.
Visitors to the facility are likely to be on the grounds during a service and are asked to avoid excess noise and to respect the sanctity of the the area.
